• I have just put a website on live.

The main website e.g. abc.com is showing fine – however, the sub pages e.g. abc.com/contact us in WP – although shown published are not showing up. I suspect if it is due to port 8000 which I am using from a server.

Not sure if anybody has solutions or have encountered before

  • I haven’t encountered this before but for all related routing issues you can always check a few things first:

Is your .htaccess locked in any way in which it doesn’t allow WordPress to use it? (check file permissions)

Have you tried going to the Permalinks setting page and selecting the first option https://example.com/?p=N and clicking Save? You can then select the option to have pretty urls and click Save again. That usually flushes permalink rules.

    Hope this helps.

Surprisingly, your method works as in under permanent link – the 1st plain one works. But, if do a custom structure, or post name. It doesn’t.

    Not sure why.

Maybe I can investigate what’s going on with the urls if you post the site you are having problems with.
