Hey awesome developers and supporters of this magical plugin that already makes me happy!

I recently learned about the (still relatively new) Stripe Billing platform and I’m exploring our paid community potentially using it. I’m talking specifically about what you see here: https://stripe.com/billing

Our Stripe account is based in Canada while most of our WooCommerce Subscriptions are for U.S. based members. It’s my understanding that Stripe Billing could offer us more than the current Visa, Mastercard, and AmEx only Canadian account options (e.g., Discover and JCB) – and maybe even ACH (for U.S. members) and SEPA (for EU members).

I’m also highly interested in their automatic card updater feature (working directly with card networks to update payment details with new card numbers or expiry dates) and smart payment retry logic.

My core question is this: are you (the plugin authors) planning to incorporate any of the Stripe Billing options into your WordPress plugin? If so, which parts and in what priority?

I’m just looking for guidance here, not any firm commitments to specific timelines for development on your plugin road map. Just knowing that you’re aware of what’s possible on Stripe’s end and might be planning to add functionality to this great plugin would be helpful.

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out. We do not have any plans to make our plugin work with Stripe billing at this time. We already have integrations with WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin that handles the recurring payments.
