Monthly repayment divider

It’s complicated.

That probably doesn’t help you very much so here’s a bit of an explanation.

Assuming you are using amortization you need the monthly interest rate. You get this by using a repayment divider to convert APR into monthly interest.

But you are using months as for the term so the plugin really doesn’t know what to do with the numbers as the formula I use assumes years for the period.

To get it to work I really need to see the formula you want to use to do the calculations.

the formula is essentially this:

(Loan amount – in $) divided by (the term – in months) plus (variable interest rate)

It then needs to display the total amount to be paid back at the chosen interest rate but broken down into a monthly payment instead of the total amount.

Basically exactly how I have it already but with the correct calculations.

No, gosh no. Don’t offer that, the plugin author would get into real trouble if they took you up on that offer.

There are many ways to get information the author needs and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.

• Provide link to the https://pastebin.com/ for the web server error log.
• Create and post a link to your phpinfo(); output.
• Install the Health Check plugin and get the data that way.
• Walk through enabling WP_DEBUG and how to log that output to a file and how to share that file.
• Walk through basic troubleshooting steps such and disabling all other plugins, clear your cache and cookies and try again.
• Provide a step-by-step on how they can reproduce the problem.

You get the idea.

Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Authors accessing a user’s system that way is a short cut that will get them into real trouble in these forums.

No problem. However, I’m happy to deal directly with the author if that’s easier given the support isn’t really voluntary as I paid for the Pro version of this plugin and it isn’t doing what it says it should.

As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
