Coupon Issue

Hi Alex,

The Coupon condition allows for setting a amount, percentage or coupon code as a value. But it does require a coupon code to be applied before it will match positively. When you do “<= $0” it will work if you apply a $0 flat rate coupon, but won’t work if no coupon is applied.

I don’t think there’s a way around the logic – at this time – to apply a free shipping rate when no coupon is applied, other then supplying the coupon codes themselves.
It is however possible to extend the matching functionality to fit these exact needs if wanted.

I’ve also logged this to look into in the future to and see if this is interesting to add a wildcard for example (‘Coupon – not equal – *’)

Has there been any update to this? I am also looking to setup a condition that allows for free shipping at a certain dollar amount unless a coupon is used. In my case, we have approximately 50 different coupon codes. Does the wildcard example work?

So in order for us to accomplish this, we would need manually enter every coupon code as an “or” instance?

One comma separated list of codes also works.

Thank you. That is not as ideal as I would have liked, but at least it’s less painless than entering each instance! ??
