• Hi. I signed into CPanel earlier to add a new SQL database. After adding the database I attempted to access the site and it just said “meganmoon.dance refused to connect”. I didn’t try connecting to the site before I added the new database so I am not 100 percent sure that the new database caused it – I cannot see how this would cause it though. I have deleted the Database and the new database access user which I had created.

    I have also tried renaming the plugins folder to see if that was the issue but to no avail.

    Please send help! I am pulling my hair out here!

  • I would reach out to your hosting provider. Your webserver isn’t responding on port 80 or port 443 for meganmoon.dance or the IP 178.33.235.187

    Shouldn’t be anything you did unless you have a Cloud/VPS and have full control over things where you may have broken apache.

    Alright, that puts my mind at rest a bit. It is my girlfriend’s site and didn’t want the uncomfortable conversation of me fiddling with databases and breaking the website!

    I’m waiting to hear back from them on a ticket. They are $0.80 a month so I am not expecting a quick response. I will update here once I hear back.
