How to load an external javascript file.

When i enter this on a site under Scripts -> …</head> tag.

</script>
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”https//domain.de/path to the .js file”>
</script>

nothing happend.
The javascript file is loaded but in the console i’ll become errors.
The javascript in the file is not jquery.
