Suggestion: Dashboard Settings options

  • Under Settings > Ordering:

    • Add Auto sort for Categories that sorts based on the same order defined in Dashboard > Categories.
    • Add manual sort for Categories similar to FAQs

    Under all Settings tabs:

    • Add Save Changes button to top of page as well as bottom.

    Under Settings > Basic:

    • Resize Custom CSS box to more than 2 lines when box has data in it.
    • Deglobalize display settings (such as Hide Categories, Hide Tags, FAQ Toggle, FAQ Category Toggle, FAQ Category Accordion, FAQ Accordion, etc.) and allow them to be set as attributes in shortcodes.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

    For the manual ordering, you can click the Categories heading in the table and it will sort them by category.

    Ahh, I see. However, that’s not what I meant. That is sorting by question within each category. What I am referring to is being able to make sure that FAQ display categories are in the order I would like, not the actual FAQs.

    • Top Level Category beginning with a “C”
    • Second Level Category beginning with a “L”
    • Top Level Category beginning with a “N”
    • Second Level Category beginning with a “A”

    It might just be easier to add an editable int field to the each category row then use that int for sort order…
