After running the plugin I got a 404 page not found on my front page.

I had to change permalinks to “plain” to get the site to work. Now I can’t change it to anything else without getting the 404 message.

After the optimization wp supercache says I need to use a custom permalink. I can’t use a permalink without getting the 404.

I need to fix this asap. Please help.

    Hi,

There aren’t any parts of the plugin which touch your front-end. As such, it’s very likely that some other problem began on your site at the same time, and it’s unrelated. If you de-activate WP-Optimize, then does the problem remain, or go away?

It doesn’t go away. It happened right after I ran the optimization.
List of problems I’ve noticed so far:
    1. I can’t change the permalinks from plain to any other option without getting 404.
    2. When I upload an image or try to change an image there is no side panel to give me options on resizing, putting in tagline…just blank.

I’ve tried to delete it, nothing. I’ve reinstalled, nothing. I think it changed/deleted or “optimized” more than it was supposed to for my site.

If I give you access to the cpanel would you be willing to take a look? I’ve searched everywhere trying to find a solution to no avail.

    Hi,

If de-activating WP-Optimize doesn’t make a difference, then WP-Optimize isn’t the cause. Have you tried talking to your web hosting company?
