Database not ready for Media Cleaner

    Hi, I would like to ask about this error messsage:

    “The database is not ready for Media Cleaner. The scan will not work. Click on the Reset button, it re-creates the tables required by Media Cleaner. If this message still appear, contact the support.”

    It appears even after clicking the Reset button. What is the problem? What can I do about it?

    I tried to deactivate all the plugins, but that didn’t help.

    My website is on WP 4.9.5

    Hi,

    It appears that MySQL/PHP doesn’t let my plugin create its tables. Maybe because you are using an old version of MySQL or PHP but I am not sure why exactly.

    Please have a look at your PHP Error Logs and let me know what you see, that will help us.

    It was my fault – the db user set in wp-config file wasn’t allowed to create tables ?? I’m sorry to waste your time.

    No problem @petravd ?? But… how do you do that in the wp-config? It’s actually the first time I hear this so I am very curious.

    I’m sorry for late response.
    The restrictions were not set in the wp-config.php. But there was used a db user, that isn’t allowed to create tables (I changed the users in wp-config.php some time after instalation to test something and forgot about that).
