[Plugin: Flickr Gallery] flickr gallery size question and sidebar widget request…
-
Hi Dan…thanks for the cool (good working easy to use) flickr gallery plug-in…So far, I just started using it and WordPress today for this blog, no problems. I do have two questions though.
1. Using your short code [flickr]https://flickr.com/photos/dancoulter/2619594365/[/flickr], is it possible to get the full size image, the original size image on my flickr site? It brings in a smaller sized version although I bring in the entire url where my original image is shown. I’d like to maintain the 950 pixel width that the slide show on the home page uses.
If you look at my site you can see in recent posts I’d like to get the full 950 pixel width of the images I use in a post, see Flood 2. That’s what I’m after. I just used the WordPress insert photo to get it. The post ‘Flood’ is what I get when I use your flickr gallery code.
2. I want to use a flickr widget in my side/bottom bar. My site uses a design something like hemingway. Is your plug-in capable of doing something like that? I found this flickr widget, I think it’s called Quick flickr or something and it puts images in the sidebar but it isn’t very good looking. I wish they were all the same sized squares like what your plug-in gives. And I wish you could click on one and it would open like yours do with lightbox/shadowbox and display elegantly like that. Can you, can someone recommend a widget that might work for me?
Ok. I’ve been working on this all day. Just exhausted now. Hope this makes sense. Here’s a link to my site, still in progress, if you want to see what I mean. Thanks again…
