Update REQUIRED

  • Hello there,
    I am trying to turn my featured image into a featured video without breaking the layout as you can see the display of the featured image. Instead of an image I want to be displayed the video. However, the plugin appears to be not compatible with my wordpress version and it’s the latest 4.8. I’ve noticed it wasn’t been updated for over an year and most of the functionalities of it are just not working. Even when I set in the media settings to different and displaying it different, the only way is to set it as a shortcode display as a post and the visual stuff are not even counted, they are kept as basic ones privded either by wordpress and youtube.

  • I’m using WP 4.9.5 on with Divi’s Extra Theme. Since updating from the previous version I’m now told the plugin isn’t compatible with this version of WP. When I try to set a Featured Video I get the following error on the Edit Page screen and also when the page is displayed on the site.

    I think that plugin is no longer supported or continued developing since 1 year ago. If you check the latest updates were exactly 1 year ago and during this year we had 2-3 version updates of WordPress.

    I’m using with no problems this plugin in sites using the latest WP version, even with Gutenberg loaded.
