Japanese installation. English site. How to change Widget language?

  • A friend of mine has a Japanese WP installation, and is running a WP site in English. Everything is fine – apart from the widgets ~ which are in Japanese.

    Is there any way to keep the admin interface in Japanese, but have the Widgets display in English?

    He is using an English lang theme – and the themes own widgets display in English, it’s only the ones which I assume are integrated into WP that are in Japanese.
