“Add Media” Media Library not synchronised with WordPress Media Library

Hi all,

Yesterday I wrote a post and uploaded images, for the first time, directly to the post using “Add Media”. Until this time, I had been uploading using “Media > Add New”, i.e. not uploaded directly to any page or post but through the WordPress media library.

Since uploading these images, whenever using “Add Media” on a page or post, I can only see the images I uploaded yesterday and none of the other 30+ images I have already uploaded to my media library.

However, navigating to “Media > Library” shows all of the uploaded photos, including those uploaded to the post I made yesterday. So it is a one-way issue that I cannot access images from the “Add Media” option on any post or page.

Any thoughts on how to fix the “Add Media” option to show my entire Media Library again?

Using WordPress 4.9.5 with Avada 5.4.2 (latest version). Please let me know if I can provide any more helpful information.
