What size should the image be for this hover effects button?

    I am new to WordPress and planning on using the round hover button with the hover effect for my website which is currently being worked on. I was wondering what size should the image be in height and width to use for the circle button. Will any square image work even for the circle button? Can I have the image in a square shape and will the plugin will automatically change to circle shape if I choose the circle hover button? I want to provide my web designer guy some info so he can create the icons for my buttons. Thank you.

    Its deepened on youhow you want to decorate your image hover. As you will get custom image settings where you can put image size.

    I develop my image hover as you give Image width and height into your short-code. Kindly input Image width and height and saved. After saved you can check into live preview panel. If its not suitable for you you also change and check before saved data.
