How to Increase Loading Speed of Larger Tables?

    Hello. Thanks for a great plugin.

    I am trying to figure out a way to have a large database (approximately 22,000 rows in 2 columns) load faster in TablePress. I run a karaoke service and have an ever-growing database of songs that people can search through. I encourage the public to use the website live at shows to search the database and submit songs, but it normally takes between 60-90 seconds to load each time, which tends to frustrate users.

    Is there a way to make that run faster? Is it possible to set that page to cache on the users phone or tablet to allow for a faster load time?

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    The page is cached on the user’s phone, but the initial data transfer simply takes time, in addition to then running the JavaScript code that adds the search feature. So, with this, I’m not aware of possibilities to make this load faster ??
