I installed Really Simple SSL Pro plugin and converted site to https. When the SSL plugin scans the site it displays an issue:

    In Plugin file
    Url cannot load over https
    https://
    Found in file: wp-content/plugins/easy-footnotes/easy-footnotes.php

It appears it does not like the http: urls in: wp-content/plugins/easy-footnotes/easy-footnotes.php

I switched those to https and it quite saying it detected errors ??

Since your site is https, maybe update those?

    Hi there,

Are you saying Really Simple SSL was flagging the Plugin URI and Author URI in easy-footnotes.php comment section?

Easy Footnotes doesn’t link to any external resources that load on the page so there is nothing that should conflict with SSL. The URLs in the commented section don’t load in any assets so that should have no effect on SSL. If their plugin is flagging those as potential SSL issues they may need to update how their plugin scans for the URLs.
