Google Maps API on exclusions list but still cached?

    We are using Comet Cache Pro along with Fast Velocity Minify which is working perfectly – except one issue we face and just cannot solve. We are using WP Store Locator for displaying several maps which makes use of the Google Maps API. Every 3 days we face a 403 error while loading the external JS file located at https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js/AuthenticationService.Authenticate – so it seems that our script calling gets cached although we added “**googleapis.com/**” to the exclusions, also within Fast Velocity Minify ignore list.

    Do you have any ideas why this caching is still happening?

  • @cleuenberg I recommend selecting the Comet Cache Pro HTML Compressor option “No, do not combine CSS/JS from remote resources.” If that does not solve the problem, then I suspect something else is going on.
