I started using a 3rd party testimonials plugin. When I deactivate it, the testimonials disappear from menu.

I would like to remove the 2 default testimonials that are showing on the homepage. They begin with “TEST”

I read another post that claims jetpack can remove them but it is not clear how. Is there someway I can easily remove them, or a CSS snippet that will hide them?

    Thanks in advance!

  • @kathienitz You can turn off Jetpack testimonials by going into Jetpack > Settings. In the Content Types section, turn off the Testimonials option:

    Jetpack A Test Site WordPress

Let me know if this does the trick.

    Kathryn, thank you SO much!

It did help but in a roundabout way. The testimonial option was already off … BUT by turning it on and then off again it made the testimonial option reappear on the left side of the dashboard. From there, I was able to go in and delete the three testimonials that were posted there.

This then resolved the issue. Thanks for your prompt support! Much appreciated!

You’re welcome – glad you were able to get it fixed up!

I’ll mark this thread as resolved but feel free to start a new one if you need help with anything else.
