Hello,
Buddypress site are mostly community sites, self to do tast is not a must in community share purpose.
But, if a tast is a connection with community or Bp group, it will be much great tool. so, the following function should be much more great:
Allow admin or group admin to post tasts,
and users or members to apply for it,
and show applicants under that task,
and admin can choose and assign the tast to the members he like.By default, any members should no rights to post a tast unless administrator allow in Bp settings just like new group permission.
