I managed to login with reCAPTCHA only after using forceoff file. I suspect that cURL is required for reCAPTCHA functionning… can it resolve the issue?

Your specific callout that cURL may be required seems to imply that this could be a problem? Is it?

Sorry for the silence, I missed notification of your reply in this topic.
I had problem with one of plugins that could not be updated because of cURL being not enabled. That issue was resolved by installing another plugin. And when I started discovering the issue about Google reCAPTHA I found many cases of using Google reCAPTHA with cURL. Thus I started to suspect cURL to be the reason of the problem

Your server will need to support outbound HTTP requests. It uses the WordPress native API, which uses cURL (and falls back to other options, but not if cURL is available). So you may have a server configuration issue for outbound requests

Well… I’ll probably take a pause with this issue and reopen the topic after research. Thanks a lot for the reply.
