Header footer problem new version update

    Hi there i am having problems with header footer plugin.

    I use standard template’s for elementor and header footer builder.
    This is because i wanna keep the footer from Astra theme with the footer navigation menu in it. Doing it wit navmenu from elementor pro is kind a SHIT, i don’t want a hamburger in my footer. So now i update elementor and header footer builder, and my header is gone… I make serveral new headers and they dont show up.
    Fist i made header template then save the template as header. Going to Astra widgets and set elementor library in the footer section then select the header section. This was the way it worked for me, but not anymore. Please help me out. I can made all pages again with canvas elementor but then i have no footer menu, and stuck with footer from plugin without the navigation in it??

  • Having the same problem. Elementor and header footer builder updated together. Not sure which caused the break. I had to roll back because we lost main menu on sites using both. Please help.

    I just checked the Elementor support page. Looks like their update may be the issue.

    Header not working here with Genesis theme. Was working fine yesterday and now Elementor won’t load the header so we can work on it. Is there a work around or something we can do. Almost done with site so don’t want to start over.

    Are you using v1.0.12 of the plugin?
    I just tested one of the sites and it seems to be working correctly here.

    Can you give a screenshot of what exactly is happening when you say it’s not working?
    1. Is the Theme’s header being displayed on the pages?
    2. What is the page template that is used for the pages where the header is not being displayed?
    3. Are you also using Elementor Pro Beta 2.0?

    I have v1.0.12 of plugin, was using 2.0 of elementor and 1.15.5 of elementor pro. I fixed the problem by rolling back elementor from 2.0 to 1.9.8. THe pages were working in elementor 2.0 but when I would try to do something with the header using elementor 2.0 the header won’t load. With 1.9.8 It loads. This site is built with Genesis Sample Theme.

    Hello @mates2,

    The problem that you were facing – “Header not loading” was this in the admin area? when editing the page?

    Elementor just released v2.0.2, Maybe you can try that if that is fixing the error?

    Yes it was when I was trying to edit the header in the admin area. I will try 2.0.2 but I can’t try it until later. Thanks.

    We started a new today using Header Footer Elementor Version 1.0.12 Elementor 2.0.2 and Elementor Pro 1.15.5. Again this is on a Genesis Sample Theme. Everything is working fine.

    Since Elementor page builder not loading error is fixed with Elementor 2.0.2 update. I will close this thread.

    Feel free to reply here / open up a new thread if you are still facing this errors.

    Sorry for the delayed response. For me this happened on live sites, so I was off working on getting them back on line. You are correct that the error was in Elementor. The problem is fixed now.

    I did notice it after the update on one site, but clearing the cache resolved it.

    BTW — thank you for your replies. Even though I was quietly working, I was grateful for the information. You helped me keep them running. Great support!
