    Hi,

Disabled all plug-ins, but i still see my new wp-admin page listed 6 times in the front page. (ver 3.3.4)

I know there are other ways to achieve what i want, but i really think it would be better if you can change that.

    Thanks in advance.

What is happening exactly? I don’t follow what is going on / what you want to happen, so could you explain in a bit more details please?

I see you tested by disabling all other plugins, but does this error also occur when using a default WordPress theme?

Like i said before there are other ways too strengthen the security of a site, one of them is to hide the admin page.

If you do a simple Cnt+U in a woocommerce site you can see the following :

    “ajax_url”:”\/w4\/wp-HIDDEN-ADMIN-PAGE\/admin-ajax.php”,”wc_ajax_url”

i don’t regard this as a good practice.

You’ve said very little about what was happening ??

So the problem is that your ajax url is visible? Pretty sure that is unavoidable, at least by default.

Changing the admin location is custom, as will be changing/masking the ajax url.

Yap, didn’t won’t to come here.. shout about something like this.

I haven’t seen other e-shop platforms advertise their backend url (prestashop,magento,..) or wordpress, and i can’t understand why a platform in its default has something like this so obvious, simple security features should be an inherited characteristic of the philosophy of their creators, not cause an overhead, or be custom made. i am pretty sure that if someone wants to mask it, (s)he can.

In any case, thanks for your time.
    Have fun
    manos
