How do I get WordPress Social Login to work with FB closed groups?

  • My site is primarily intended for members of a Facebook closed group to log into. I am hoping to use WordPress Social Login Bouncer and Filters by profile urls to permit only FB Closed group members to login.

    My question is can WordPress Social Login be configured to allow only FB Closed group members to log into a website?
    If so what might the FB profile URL be to point to group members. I have tried ‘https://www.facebook.com/FB_group_id’ in profile urls: but that does not work.
    Would the Facebook Valid OAuth Redirect URIs require changing? it took me ages to get that working.

    Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

    No is the simple answer.
    Facebook has put a total block on extracting information from Closed and Private groups.

    Sorry to be disappointing. If I hear anything different I’ll let you know
