Products not displaying in Product Category feed, Genesis conflict

    I cannot get the product categories to actually display the products. I have double checked that each product is set to display ‘catalog and search’. I have also selected each category to display ‘products’, however they are not showing. Any of the three categories under store show the same image (which I do not know where that is coming from) and a ‘read more’. However, the read more is a loop to the same page. This was working until recently. I have deactivated all plugins, and there was no conflict. It appears to be a conflict with Genesis but I cannot find the issue. Please help.

    So when temporarily switching to a default WordPress theme, this problem doesn’t occur?

    Sounds like the theme has some messed up query loops. Will likely need to contact the theme authors about this.

    How did you resolve this? I am having the same issue and I’m using the Genesis framework.
    I’m trying to use the Product Categories widget, but when it goes to mywebsite/product-categories/categoryname, it’s not displaying the products and I DO have the category set that way. It displays the category name, the same image no matter what category, the category info (description, number of items, etc.) but NOT the products. I’ve been looking at it for hours!

    Well after hours of digging into it, I discovered that the following plugin had been deactivated:
    Genesis Connect for WooCommerce

    I reactivated it and everything began working fine once again.
