Watch out! Last update crash my server. My warning topic was deleted

I have a sudden spike of computer cycles, more than 4x average in the past three days. I’m also seeing most of my critical comments deleted immediately after replying. This is not right. I’m very close to bailing out on this solution. Hoping for a solid fix and stable operation.

Please try updating to MailPoet 3.6.2.
3.6.1 still has the issue where an incompletable scheduled task may cause high resource usage. The problem has been fixed in 3.6.2.

We have noticed that for some sites the 3.6.2 update is not offered for some reason, so you may have to perform the update manually, by downloading the update from the plugin repository and uploading it to your site.
We’re still looking into why the automatic update may not be offered.

For your original topic being marked as resolved, similar questions tend to arise that involve normal plugin operation, so your report may have been mistaken as such a question. But thanks to your issue reports we were able to diagnose the issue and release a fix in version 3.6.2.

We understand such sending issues are frustrating to deal with, so we are focusing on eliminating existing issues now working with our users, and we will be looking at extra measures to make such issues less likely to happen in the future.
