This site is displaying correctly in Firefox, Safari, Opera but when i check it in IE it is as if IE stops reading the css halfway through the page.

    see here- https://www.thisisnotikea.com/wordpress/

The top category with the 4 thumbnails are showing styled (not perfect due to margin positions), but this is how they should look. After this point everything goes mental.

This happens only on the index page and just in the content area – sidebars and header not effected.

Any help or advise would be brilliant.

I know that the client did use MS Word to past an entry in, but i removed all the MSO tags that were in there and that was on a page- nothing ot do with the home page.

I really hope someone knows the answer to this.

It looks as though one html page has been pasted inside another, including things like the “body” tag. And, what I think is throwing things off, there is an extra </html> towards the bottom of the source code.

After a fresh install I figured out what was happening. It was the text widgets I had on the front page. I had about 8 in total. The first one worked, but the ones after it made everything look horrid.

I have got rid of the text widgets now as I was only using them to display a link. not 100% vital.
