    Hi

Is the wordpress-popup / hustle plugin 100% GDPR compliant and not sending out any data or building up any connections to other servers than the user and also the owner has been asked before with doubled opt-in verification of ownership?

We saw that there are several API calls in the code and we would like to know what they are actually for and what data gets send and for what that data gets used and processed for. Does that data get stored somewhere, if yes where and for what purpose.

    Thanks a lot
    Kind regards
    Toremo

    Hello there @toremo,

hope you’re doing good today! ??

There’s been a task in our to-do list to add a special checkbox which could be used for the GDPR agreement. Hopefully next plugin release will include that!

As for data stored, these are all stored in the email services (in their sites) or in your local list (whatever is used in your installation).
Hustle doesn’t store any other information, apart from the actual settings that needs in order to create its popups, slideins etc.
So you can either remove data by yourself in the local email list, or do that in the 3rd party service end, for example in Mailchimp’s website.

    Warm regards,
    Dimitris

With the GDPR compliance deadline coming at the end of this month, is there any update on the addition of the checkbox?

    Hey @whax,

    Hope you’re well.

I am afraid that update is not published yet. Our developers still working on that. I hope it will be live before the end of this month.

    Cheers,
    Oguz

    Hello Oguz,
