• ?Hi,

In the last strings I had to translate, I’m detecting a lot of strings without a context cue to help translators and disambiguation.

    For example:

    %1$s Quiz
    ?Course: %1$s (#%2$d)
    Lesson: %1$s (#%2$d)
    ?%1$d / %2$d points

?In some languages it’s rather difficult to translate this, for example, if you have masculine and feminine genders and no neutral, like English.

We need a clue about what the variables stand for.

    Thanks.
    Best,
    álvaro

  • @alvarogois,

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll make some updates around this in a future release.

    Best,

    %1$s Quiz

%1$s = Title of the lesson a newly created quiz has been attached to. This is the default title of a quiz when creating a new quiz.

    ?Course: %1$s (#%2$d)

%1$s = Title of the Course
%2$d = WP Post ID of the Course

    Lesson: %1$s (#%2$d)

%1$s = Title of the Lesson
%2$d = WP Post ID of the Lesson

    ?%1$d / %2$d points

    %1$d = Awarded Points
    %2$d = Total available points

This is when reviewing quiz results
