Hey Phil,
Strange indeed for 2 reasons.
– It appears they failed to initialize them meaning they likely didn’t detect them.
– Before v1.7 this would have been normal. But now we actually process the content in the head to prevent that. IE if they load their assets based on the code being rendered, we now cover that.
IE it should work better now, not worse, and if its not working now, it definitely shouldn’t have worked before.
We will likely need to get them involved as their plugin is doing things a bit differently than most meaning normal solutions may not apply.
They build a list of all accordions and only initialize that list. Your popups accordions for whatever reason are not getting added to the list. And by all accounts they should now and not have before. They could move to a passive system where they simply detect their own html elements and initialize them based on the html rather than passing a JS variable. Then it wouldn’t matter as much.
Let me know what their support says on the matter.
I appreciate you service-based attitude ??
My next step is to reflect your feedback back to the builders of the accordion plugin, and see how they react.
However their service levels are not like yours, they have not responded to their support in over a month!
So, I am thinking in the meanwhile I may get my programmer to make changes to overcome the problems within the accordion..
thanks again
??
