Your plugin has worked great for me for years, so thank you. But, I have one question for you that I’m thinking can be solved via a WP hook, but I’m not sure. If you look at the following page, you can see the full menu for the “About Us” section in the left column as powered by your plugin:

    https://robinsoncenter.uw.edu/about-us/news/

However, when I go to one of the posts in the News section, I can’t figure out how to get this same menu to display (that’s my goal). Your plugin only seems to show elements tied to the post that’s displaying. Here’s an example with “News” hard-coded in the left menu so something shows up that makes sense:

Is there a way to display a menu based on the “News” page while actually being on a news post? I’m proficient in using hooks and writing custom PHP, so if that’s the answer it’s not a problem. I just need a little direction. Thank you!

    Hi InterlockSolutions,

This feature is not currently support via the free version. It is slated for version 3.1.0 of PRO which is in the final testing phase and scheduled to release this week.

    Cheers,

Thanks, Mat. If you could let me know when that version is released, I will purchase and use it.

The ability to display the widget on every page the sidebar is displayed (such as posts) is now part the PRO plugin version 3.1.0

For finer control you may use a plugin from the WordPress community which allows specifying pages a widget or sidebar should display. As long as “Display on every page” is checked in the widget, this plugin will honor any location settings from other WordPress plugins.
