wordpress editing posts sometimes does not load visual editor and other features

  • After the latest upgrade we started noticing the visual editor does not load, cannot tab between visual/text editors and also some other features do not fully load such as Yoast. Therefore, we’re forced to refresh and/or go back and re-enter the post to see the content. The issue does not happen every time, however can reproduce it multiple times throughout the day. Typically, clicking edit post and going back about 10-20 times can usually reproduce the issue.

    To troubleshoot, we’ve tried to:
    1. Disable all plugins and switch to a fresh Twenty Seventeen theme.
    2. Ran the Health Check tool
    3. Added the define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false); in wp-config

    We have been unsuccesful on resolving this issue.

    Running out of ideas besides maybe to try and downgrade to previous wordpress version. I would very much appreciate any input on how to resolve this…

    These do not help resolve this. Also, to mention this only happens to a few editors and not others. So we’ve tried to set up a new admin user and they still are seeing this issue. They’ve tried to use different browsers and even different PCs without any luck.
