Whats a good image editor?

    I have 3 ?
    1. I am also having trouble getting my media to work. I upload photos only to see an X in a blank box. Before I upgraded to 2.7.1 I did not have this problem. I was previously on 2.7. I tried the alternat browser and it also showed just a X
    2, I read on a forum that if you are having a problem just go to your dashboard and enter problem there. Is this correct. Should I be taking these questions somewhere else?
    3.What is a good image editor? Is this a plug-in? I am trying to resize a photo for my theme header, I am using Techozoic by Jeremy Clark. Any help would be great, Thanks

    Hi,

    1) Check the wp-contents folder permissions and set it to 755 recursively..it should resolve the issue.

    2) Give detail explanation on your query….

    3) You can set resize of the image from miscellaneous and also edit the post in HTML editor and reset the height width..for the theme header modification you can do it from style.css file of your theme..

    Thanks Shane for the reply, problem is I don’t edit well.
    for
    # 1 I went to my file manager at my host and entered wp-content folder, every thing was already set to 755 that was in folder. Do you have any other suggestions. I can upload media into my other web sites, also with wp, with no problem.
    #3. “set resize of image from miscellaneous” where is this miscellaneous you are refering to? I see theme header in theme editor. I see style. It looks like this

    <style type=”text/css” media=”screen”>
    @import url( <?php bloginfo(‘stylesheet_url’); ?> );

    Where exactly and what exactly do I add to make pic 200px high

    I am learning, it is just a little slow for me as i am 48 and never had school for this. Thanks for the time.
