Sender address for subscription confirmations

In the “Settings for Subscription Request messages” section of the configuration screen for a mailing group, I have put a custom “sender name” and a “sender email” ([email protected]). But the subscription confirmation messages are being sent from “WordPress” (“[email protected]”). It is not clear to me how I can configure the email address from which these emails will be sent. Can you help with this?
