Welcome to the community support forums for GigPress!
GigPress is a free, simple and lightweight plugin which is maintained by the team behind The Events Calendar. We hope you enjoy it and want to support you on your journey as best we can.
- Though we monitor these forums on a regular basis, monitoring does not mean we will reply to each and every thread that’s posted (during busy periods, we may not be able to reply at all)
- These forums are primarily a place where community members can help one another: the support team is generally only here to look out for reports of new bugs or compatibility issues
Of course, we are always interested to hear about any bugs you are experiencing and are keen to identify and resolve them wherever possible, but we’re not mind-readers. Some simple steps will make it easier for us to help you:
- Tell us which version of our plugin you are using
- Clearly indicate if you have been able to perform these basic troubleshooting steps and what the outcome was
- Provide links to your site and to any screenshots that might help us see the problem
- If the problem is new, take the time to pause and think about any recent changes you made (theme updates or setting changes) that might have triggered the issue
Last but not least:
- If you need help with something other than a bug, like a customization, then you might get lucky and one of the team may point you in the right direction but please don’t count on it: as above, these forums are mostly a place for community users to help each other
- Give back! If you have tips or tricks to share, or can point fellow users in the right direction, please do so: your participation is valued
