    The feature that strips the category base stopped working with the latest update. Also, the advanced panel is missing, which is preventing me from re-enabling that feature (assuming it’s still available).

    I’m also having issues with reaching advanced settings to adjust the sitemap settings. HELP.

    Looks like the latest update removed the advanced settings option, and they have also removed the support page for it:
    https://kb.yoast.com/kb/remove-advanced-yoast-seo-settings/ which gives a ‘page not found’

    @brad2dabone The remove category base feature is now located under Search Appearance>Taxonomies and is controlled by the ‘Category URL’ setting.

    @sarahmytych As of the 7.0 release of Yoast you would no longer see the sitemaps option in the SEO menu, as whether pages/posts etc are included in the XML sitemap is controlled through the ‘Search Appearance’ area and the indexing settings.
