Remove Date from Shared Event Link

    Whenever I share a link to an event on Facebook or Twitter it comes up with the date in brackets at the end of the event name. Not only does this look untidy, but it also comes up as yyyy/dd/mm format, which as a UK user isn’t helpful. I also don’t get images coming up on Twitter, either when the event has a featured image or not.

    Is there any way to remove this?

    About the missing Twitter image:

    This may be a bug, as the Twitter image tag is remains blank. I have submitted a bug-fix report to the Development Team to fix this problem for the next releaase of the calendar.

    About the sharing title, the date in brackets is part of the title. I suggest submitteding a feature request ticket in order to have the option to adjust the title of the shared images. Our Dev Team can then look at implementing this for a future release of the plugin. You can do so here:
