New Domain name, same blog

    So I have been reading here and I think this is what I need to do:

    My question is this: Once I complete the steps and the request to change oldsiteurl to newsiteurl, when someone googles my site and clicks on the old link, will it take them to my new domain name? In other words:

    Click on www.myolddomainname.com and be taken to www.mynewdomainname.com
