    Hi,

Very good and SIMPLE!!! plugin, have figured out everything by myself with the little help of clarification on documents.
The only one Desired future I could not find – it’s How to protect the Menu? Let say I have several Menus, One from All users, another for Members only, or even for Members with Different Subscription Level… The Same you have for Post, Pages, Categories – but none for the Menu? Did you missed it?

Also, Subscription Expiry – it’s not something usual, but would like to set the Expiry day 31st of December EVERY Year. At the moment the only workaround for this, is to Periodically Reset Members Subscription Start Day to 1st of January and do not forget to do the same on 30st of December so every one will expire on 1st January. I know it’s not the usual subscription behavior to have the end day for everyone the same, regardless when they joined, but this is how the memberships runs there.

    Regards,
    Kos

Hi, in regards to your menu protection question. Unfortunately at present the plugin does not protect the menus of a site. You will have to use another plugin for this.

In regards to your subscription question.

What happens if you set the expiry to the 31st of December?

In regards to the following comment. Can you provide an example.

What way I can set the Expiry day to 31 of December? I would have to include Year as well. For example if I set expiry to 31 dec 2018, then evryone who have subscribed during this year have expiry date 31 Dec 2018. After 31 dec 2018 their subscription will expire, they will pay to extent and will get expiry date Again 31 of Dec 2018!
Unless Im wont be Drunk to change the expiry date to 2019 on the new year eve…

At the moment I have subscription set to run for One year and time to time Reseting the Start day of subscribers to 1st January. But this also requares to reset all of then again, if any left, at the end of the year.
Its unlikly situation that somebody will be buying subscription at last few months of the year – so I can live with this.
But just to do and forget – would be nice to have the option to set the Expiry every 31 December each year, every year…

Hi, have you read through the following documentation?

Also how many membership levels do you currently have?

    (@koswebsite)

I think you are mixed the topics, the documentation link have nothing to do with my Query.
Unleass you mean that the payment for subscription will be taken automaticly by paypal. But this option still have disadvantages, as Paypal subscriptions allow this option only for PayPal registered users. Also, even if payment will be taken automaticly that does not change the subscription expiry date if its set to 31 dec 2018.
I know what you mean, and this will works perfetly if I would just set the expry after 1 year of the subscription from the registration date. But, all of the subscribers are should be set to expire on the Same day, regardless when they are subscribed. It just the way the Membership is running from 1st of January to 31 of December. So that why Im looking for the option to set Expiry day 31 of December Every Year.
At the moment there is only one level of subscription and no more levels are requared.

Hi, I think I finally understand what you are trying to achieve. However currently conditional registration is not currently available. I think that is the name that you give to what you are trying to achieve.

In regards to the following comment.

At the moment I have subscription set to run for One year and time to time Resetting the Start day of subscribers to 1st January

As far as I know, a 1 year subscription to end at the end of the year would not work if someone subscribes through the middle of the year. That would not classify to be a 1 year subscription any more. If they pay for 12 months subscription, shouldn’t they receive a 12 month subscription? Or did I misunderstand the above comment?

    Kind regards

Yes, that is the normal situation when you pay for 1year subscription then you receive one year subscription,
But that what I’m trying to explain – it’s not Kind of subscription – It’s Membership Fee, and memberships are Running from 1st January to 31 of December. Before somebody want to join they have Clear Message about this.
So if someone join in the middle of the year, they still will have to update their membership on 1st of January. I would not have any questions if it’s would be the normal subscription model.
Anyway – we have the workaround for this, by resetting the Start day to 1st of January. so the subscriptions will last for year from the starting day and give the desired result by expiring at 31st of December. is that right?
as example, someone join in 23 of March 2018. Pays membership fee. I Reset his Start day to 1st of January 2018 – that means his subscription will expire on 31 of December 2018. I don’t see any other options to do this at the moment.

    Yes, the following is correct:

someone join in 23 of March 2018. Pays membership fee. I Reset his Start day to 1st of January 2018 – that means his subscription will expire on 31 of December 2018.

Another option is to use the fixed date expiry for the membership level. If you make the expiry of the membership level to 31 of December 2018, then regardless of when that user joins, the account will expire on 31st of December 2018. Every year you can create a new membership level and let the users signup to that years membership.

    Thread Starter koswebsite

    (@koswebsite)

Well, by creating the new Level Membership that means I would have to assign the pages and categories again to that level…
    anyeay… I will manage ??
