    Hello!
I have problem that reserved stock number made from Inventory log won’t show at Stock Central. I have done everything as shown on your video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTfSif0-ByI and tried some other combinations and still nothing… When I set a new order to “completed” (as shown on your video), and link it with Inv.log (as Reserved Stock) it shows nothing in Stock Central, and when I set order to “pending” Stock Central puts it in “Stock on Hold” column. I can’t send it to “Reserved Stock” column… I noticed that it won’t remember “reservation date” in Inv.log either…

    Hi littleiskra,

Thank you very much for your post.

I am glad you are using ATUM to manage your inventory and sorry you come across some difficulties.

Please, accept my apology, but I don’t really understand the case. Instead, I will explain the steps of how the ‘reserved logs’ work. Everything you said above seems to be the way it was designed.

    1. Inventory Logs work the same way as WC orders. We have kept the same functions and design.
    2. Inventory Logs ‘PENDING’ show in Stock Central. ‘Completed’ no longer show in stock central.
    3. ‘Completed’ logs show in the Inventory Logs main page summary (not in Stock Central as they are already completed).

Orders in WooCommerce have nothing to do with Inventory Logs. You can only pull order details to inventory logs, but any change in orders will not change the inventory log automatically. You need to remove the order and pull the new one in to simulate the change.

Yes, stock on hold in Stock Central shows all orders that have status ‘Pending’.

I am sorry if I misunderstood what you wanted to ask. If you describe step by step scenario of an existing case, it may be better.

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Best Regards,

    Pavel

I’ve done it again, and it is the same. So, here it is, step by step.

A customer wants to buy some product, but asking couple of days for taking some measurements and make final decision. So, I want to reserve one product for her ( I have 2 pcs on stock).

Then, I create an order for that product – status of order is “Processing”, and remember order ID.

Then, I go to Atum Inventry Logs and add new log. Log type is “Reserved stock”, status is “Pending”. Next, I set an order – find it through order ID and import into this log. I put an description and recalculate cost (though it isn’t that important). Go on “Create” and there is “Log updated” message.

    OK

Now I go to Atum Stock Central. Current stock is reduced by 1, but “Reserved Stock” shows 0.

I also tried to change order status to “Completed” (for everything to be as in your tutorial), but it is the same – Reserved Stock: 0

My product is Variable, is that make some difference? I noticed this: When I go to Order details in Item section I see details for specific variation (name, SKU, and the variation ID). But, when I open my Inventroy log details, in Item section are details for main product, not its specific variation. Maybe problem is in variable products…?

    Hi littleiskra,

Thank you very much for the reply.

Yes, you are correct, we have managed to replicate the issue here. It is in deed only happening to variations.

Our team will research and try to include the fix in the next update.

Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

    Best Regards,

    Pavel

    Hi littleiskra,

Thank you very much for your patience.

We have included the fix in 1.4.0.1 update.

Please, follow this to fix your already created logs:

YOU will have to removed all products you have imported from orders first and import them again.

Hope it works fine for you from here on.

    Best Regards,

    Pavel
