My client logged in to Gravatar and updated her profile via the email address colleenfriesentraveling@//////

It has been over 24 hours, and the email address for gravatar matches the email address for her admin account at her self-hosted wordpress site, but the old avatar info is still showing.

Interestingly if you go to ColleenFriesen.com and look at the gravatar profile in the inner sidebar and click on ‘view full bio’ it takes you to gravatar where the OLD profile shows up, even though when you click on manage my gravatars or profile, the correct/edited information shows.

    What is going on?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    First thing to try is:
Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches. Not just your browser, but any op cache or content network cache as well such as Cloudflare. If you are using SiteLock, manage your caching there.
Flushing Managed host caches. Managed WP hosting often has special caches. If your host has a “Purge Varnish” or “Flush Memcache” tool, try that. You can ask your provider to flush memcache and Varnish for you if necessary.

No luck on W3 Total Cache purge, the same. So strange that gravatar.com shows the OLD profile info to non-logged in users, but the NEW profile info when we log in…?

So it turns out the client had TWO gravatar accounts and has two sites but was using one gravatar for both sites instead of separate ones for separate content.

I think she had forgotten she had the other one as we set it up a number of years ago. Logged in, fixed, site updated! Thanks for the assistance, I hope this thread is helpful for others.
