Hi! We’ve been using this plugin for a year and everything was great until today, when we wanted to add a new product and we can’t save the tabs.

Well, it says they are saved, but when we save the product, they disapear. When we want to create a “saved tab”, an error appears.

    Any ideas?

    Hi @bllamas,

Have you installed or updated a new theme or any plugins recently? What is the error that appears when you try to create a saved tab?

I am not sure what’s going on but any additional information (like error messages) would really help.

    Thanks,
    Kevin.

I have the same problem. The last WooCommerce update was a real hiccup, so this isn’t the only thing I’m having to repair.

I can see the tabs(and their content) on the product page back end, but they don’t display on the front end any more.

The plugin says I have no saved tabs. When I try to recreate one, the plugin wants me to fill in content for it before saving. But what I want is already filled in on the product page.

    Hi @taridonohue,

    You’re on WooCommerce 3.3.3, right?

I think this is a plugin conflict issue; I can’t re-create the issue.

Do you have other WooCommerce-related plugins? If so, could you please copy and paste that list? Perhaps you and @bllamas have the same plugin and it’s creating this issue.

    Thanks,
    Kevin.

Yep, Woo 3.3.x has wiped out all the tabs info – I was looking at a cached version. The then-quickly released 3.3.3 was supposed to make things stable, but unfortunately the damage on several areas was already done. The functionality is still on each product page; I guess we will have to start over.

Thanks for looking into it and your quick response.

Thank you for the quick answer!

I think I found the problem in my case, maybe it helps somebody else:

The plugin said “Your tabs have been saved” but then, after saving the draft, they were gone. The problem was a word in Russian. When I changed the symbol Б it worked inmediately.

    Thanks.-

    Hey @bllamas,

Thank you for letting me know! We try our best to encode foreign characters properly but I guess we’re missing some support for Russian. Are you able to paste the problematic word here? Do you know if it uses all valid utf-8 characters?

    The word was: KБche

There is only one “strange” character so I just tried to translate it ?? I don’t know much about utf-8, sorry. But no big problem in this case.
