WP installs, but index.php is just that: raw list of files

    I just installed WP 2.7.1 on an Apache server. Very easy. But when I go to access the blog, I get the raw list of files on index.php.

    admin.php is a blank page.

    I’ve reinstalled fresh copies of WP three times. Same thing.

    I have an older installation (WP 2.1) in another directory at the same level, and it worked (and works) fine.
