Bear with me, I’m in WAY over my head.

On a MacBook Pro using Safari, self-hosted WP, Jessica theme

Haven’t been able to use the customize function for a few weeks. I found some help in here: advised to deactivate the plug-ins, clear cache & cookies (I also rebooted). Did that, no success. Last instruction suggested using Firefox and if that didn’t work, my computer doesn’t have enough memory and to use a desktop.
I don’t have access to a desktop and my Mac is less than 6 months old, I’ve doubled checked activity monitor and I don’t think that is the problem.
My site has been down since October (totally changed from simple blog site to storefront – jetpack keeps blowing up my site, so it’s been a huge struggle). I’ve had some help, but she’s injured and out of commission for a long while and I’m on my own (and LOST). I’m so close to going live again!!
Apologies if I’m in the wrong place, ANY advice is much appreciated! ??

Without being logged in, it is impossible for me to see what is going on within your admin panel.

If you switch to a default theme can you use the customize feature? That would be the first thing I would check.

    Good morning, Heidi~

Thank you so much for quick reply! Yesterday, I didn’t change the theme to a default. So I did just now, deactivated all plug ins, refreshed, deleted all cache/cookies, refreshed, rebooted, nothing. Truly stumped. I am using Jessica theme w/WooCommerce. I also did update jetpack and haven’t blown up yet, so that is a good sign, lol. Again, any advice would be appreciated!
