Takes a bit to understand all the options, it is a powerful plugin, but so far it’s worked great for me.

I have tried many, many, many plugins to import youtube videos automatically to wordpress. And I am yet to find one. However it is exceptionally great at manually importing videos. For that purpose I would recommend this. But as it does advertise automatic imports, this is plainly not true. If you are trying to auto-import youtube videos, DO NOT USE THIS PLUGIN.

Every time throwing error, and it’s unknown error on youtube single import

This plugin is very good. But can you (the author) add the option to fetch youtube view count option? Better have the option to choose the channel and playlist, since all the compatible themes have many update since then. Thank you!

My theme is not compatible. I created vid category in regular post vs using vid custom post. All settings work in plugins post creation settings. Easily imported my YT channel. Now, it is wonderfully updating with auto post of new vids I create. You just have to get YT api and oauth. Then, just take the time to choose your YVI settings. (The settings allow you a great deal of specificity in producing what you want. Well worth taking the time to set up those settings!) After that, takes care of itself. I’ve been using just a couple of days. I’m sure I will learn more of this plugins function. All set already in what I wanted it to do. Thanks!
