Do you want to test whether the WordPress installation is sending mail or not? WP Test Email helps you to do that.
It allows you to send a simple test email to an email address of your choice and logs all outgoing emails.

Note: The email logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days. Older logs are automatically removed to keep the log table manageable.

Installation

1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel and go to Plugins -> Add New
2. Type WP Test Email in the search box and click on the search button.
3. Find WP Test Email plugin.
4. Then click on Install Now and then activate the plugin.

OR

1. Download and save the WP Test Email plugin to your hard disk.
2. Login to your WordPress and go to the Add Plugins page.
3. Click the Upload Plugin button to upload the zip.
4. Click Install Now to install and activate the plugin.

How long are email logs retained?

Email logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days. Logs older than 30 days are automatically deleted to keep the log table manageable.

How can I test if my WordPress site is sending emails?

Use the WP Test Email plugin to send a test email to an address of your choice. The plugin will confirm whether the email was sent successfully and log the details.

How do I view the email logs?

Navigate to Tools -> Email Logs in your WordPress admin panel. You can search, sort, and view the logs of the test emails sent through the plugin.

While SMTP plugins often have email testing, very few plugins allow you to test your WP email delivery without being part of another plugin. For example, I have a client who uses Mailgun. I switched to the Mailgun plugin from a popular SMTP plugin, but it cannot send test emails! So, this plugin is perfect for testing these types of things. It’s nice to find plugins that do exactly what they say they will and have no extra stuff.

You should improve the code to make it use the same configuration as WP .. Emails work perfectly, if tested with mail-testers, whether they are sent from Outlook, from the cell or from the site .. Only with one plugin doesn’t work, this ..!
