EMAIL SENDING OPTIONS

The biggest issue users have are:

Email Spammers make successful email delivery a very complicated and specialized function.
WordPress by default uses your web hosts local mail server to send all WordPress and plugin generated emails.
Emails sent from a web host local mail server have poor delivery rates because they have very little or no reputation.
Configuring any type of email delivery provider will improve email delivery rates.

Every different Email Provider requires another plugin to configure. For example here are just a few of the available choices.

EMAIL FROM PLUGINS

WP Email Template will not work with any plugin that:

Applies it’s own HTML Email Template (WP Email Template is still applied but the 2 together will look bad).

Usage

Install and activate the plugin
Go to WP Email menu on your wp-admin dashboard.
Go to the Template sub menu and add your template styling
Go to the Send WP Mail sub menu and configure your preferred email sending provider.
Enjoy.

Installation

Minimum Requirements

PHP version 7.4 or greater is recommended
MySQL version 5.6 or greater is recommended

Automatic installation

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don’t even need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install of WP Email Template, log in to your WordPress admin panel, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.

In the search field type “WP Email Template” and click Search Plugins. Once you have found our plugin you can install it by simply clicking Install Now. After clicking that link you will be asked if you are sure you want to install the plugin. Click yes and WordPress will automatically complete the installation.

Manual installation

The manual installation method involves down loading our plugin and uploading it to your web server via your favorite FTP application.

Download the plugin file to your computer and unzip it
Using an FTP program, or your hosting control panel, upload the unzipped plugin folder to your WordPress installations wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu within the WordPress admin.

I’m not sure why this plugin is in our system as it doesn’t seem to do anything useful, but what’s worse is there seems to be a recent code refactor that has changed namespaces and class names causing code errors where custom code has referenced this plugin. It’s quite useful to offer a depreciation notice or fallback when plugin changes like this go through, but in this case I assume the plugin developer only really cares about selling licences rather than maintaining a well supported plugin. Rather spoon my eyes out than see this plugin in any of my future systems.

I’m attempting to use this plugin, but the HTML emails show up in google with a super-wide format and broken tags. Thinking that maybe the pro version’s “Premium Styles” functionality would solve this issue, I foolishly bought a 5-site license. In order to finish the upgrade, you’re required to install “a3 Dashboard” and link it to your account on the a3 website. Unfortunately, linking doesn’t work – their dashboard won’t recognize my account – so I’m stuck with a non-functional plugin, and an upgrade I’ve paid for but can’t use. I put a ticket into their support system 4 days ago and have yet to hear back from them. Garbage plugin. Use something else. I wish I could go lower than 1 star.

All I was after, was a plugin that allowed me to set a global width, and footer. Sure.. this plugin does this.. but it then ADDS shit to your emails you cant remove… unless you buy the free version. Like email title is suddenly plonked into the body of your email, ruining it. There is NEVER a need for this, its only done so you are forced to buy the paid version. Something, I would never do, since its been done so damn dishonestly. Avoid.
