The latest version is from 2019. Do I need to say more. The creator Prashant Walke is still selling this thing. The facts are: it is not working properly with WordPress 5.8.x same discount banner in the admin panel for years no white icon in the menu I recommend using BackWPup instead.

I have three websites: two in subdirectories, and one in the root. On the root website, I tried to backup “Both Database & Files” selecting not to backup my own user directory (I keep my personal files outside of the wordpress folders), but only the WordPress directories. The plugin first of all failed to back up the wp-includes directory. I tried again: same result. I then switched it to “Database only” and it generated a blank file. I switched it back to “Both Database & Files” and now it only makes a backup of the Database. No files are backed up at all. I uninstalled, reinstalled and tried it again, and it does the same thing. I tried a few other backup programs (like X Cloner) and they work fine on that root website. So there is a problem with this plugin. The free version, WP Database Backup, which only did the Database, seemed to work fine, which is why I upgraded to the WP All Backup. Apparently that was a mistake.

Great backup tool, especially for large Wordpress multisites. Works with Dropbox. Love it. Support has a great turn around response time. Recommend this plugin.

The only reason I didn’t give this plug-in five stars is because I wasn’t able to restore my database/file back up myself. I have virtually no technical knowledge of website programming, and when my site was hacked into, I needed to restore a previous version. However, the developer was extremely helpful, responded to my emails in a timely manner, and even offered to restore my database/file backup for me! Thank you Prashant!!

The full back-up feature does not work. In reading one of the previous reviews, I removed the last “|” delimiter from the excluded directory, then tried to create a new back-up. The process runs, never stops and on occasion, I receive a timeout error (hosted on GoDaddy). The plugin leads to the conclusion its easy to use and does not require advanced technical knowledge. Looking at the web site for the project, https://www.wpseeds.com/wp-all-backup/, there is a statement advanced technical knowledge is required. I’d like to use this plugin, it seems well thought out, but if it doesn’t work, I can no use it.

This is one of THE MOST VALUABLE plugins I use. I host 100+ websites and have used this plugin to move sites, restore sites after being hacked, move a site to production. You name it, I’ve used it. Highly recommended for anyone who is serious about the security of their client
