Of course, XML files can have complex structures, but for CSV files, you can easily edit them and change the column names.

When importing CSV files, you should use UTF-8 encoding (which is very standard) if you are having any trouble with CSV imports containing special characters. But other than that, there are no special requirements.

First, install WP All Import.

I inherited a website which had the WP All Import plugin and the Woocommerce Import Add-On with all setup and a cron job running for importing products from an XML. Everything was running smoothly! The problem was that the owner wanted also to import the product weight. I tried writing a function and I also tried to get this value from the XML using drag and drop. But his didn’t work I searched the web for about a week, I tried the documentation and I even posted at the stackoverflow but no one could answer my question. I finally wrote to support and within 5 minutes I got a reply ! The solution was to use the XPath Cheat Sheet and it worked like a charm! Their support is amazing and their product is excellent!

Apart from the know features to transfer or migrate products it’s an easy tool for bulk edit products via exporting, editing in spreadsheets and reimporting.
