Textmetrics has a Page Rank and SEO optimization tracker. It will track the rank in Google of your content and SEO optimization score, so you can follow progress. It will notify you when rankings change.

Social & SEO Meta Tags integration

Textmetrics automatically adds social & SEO meta tags to your posts. You can enable or disable this option in the Textmetrics >> Social menu in the WordPress dashboard.

Import functionality

Textmetrics can import data from other popular SEO plugins. You can find this option in the Textmetrics >> Tools menu in the WordPress dashboard.

Installation

1. Go to the Plugins tab in your WordPress dashboard and select Add New.
2. Type in Textmetrics in the Search Plugins box.
3. Press “Install Now” to install the plugin.
4. Activate the Textmetrics plugin from the Plugins menu in WordPress.
5. Textmetrics will now appear in your WordPress dashboard [on the left].
6. Click on Textmetrics which will take you to the dashboard and login using your Textmetrics credentials.

Is Textmetrics for WordPress free?

Yes, it’s free. The plugin is free. To use it you will need a Textmetrics account.

How do I disable Textmetrics on different post types?

Click on Textmetrics >> Settings menu in the WordPress dashboard. Head over to the Post Types tab and select for each post type if you want to show or hide the SEO suggestions.

How do I adjust the Social Meta Tags settings?

Click on Textmetrics >> Social menu in the WordPress dashboard.

Where is the Social Meta Tags box located?

The Social Meta Tags box is located on WordPress’s post/page editor underneath the content area.

Great, except it doesn’t keep you logged in on WordPress

The tool itself is great, with lots of great features which I was able to benefit via the AppSumo deal. It’s very intuitive and the interface is simple and easy to get the hang of. The biggest bug bear for me is every time I log into my Wordpress site, I keep having to also log into the app which is a nuisance. I don’t have those issues with other apps that I have log-ins for.
