Installation

1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
3. Click on Waitlist menu on the dashboard.

FAQ

How to setup?

Everything is already setup.Just activate the plugin & you are done.

How to translate?

1. Download PoEdit.
2. Open the watilist-woocommerce.pot file in PoEdit. (/plugins/waitlist-woocommerce/languages/
   watlist-woocommerce.pot)
3. Create new translation & translate the text.
4. Save the translated file with name “waitlist-woocommerce-Language_code”. For eg: German(waitlist-woocommerce-de_DE)
   , French(waitlist-woocommerce-fr_FR). — Language code list
5. Save Location: Your wordpress directory/wp-content/languages/

Working

1. Waitlist button shows when product is out of stock.
2. As soon as the product is in stock again , it sends email to all the users in waitlist.

I want to give this plugin 5 stars because it’s the only plugin that helped me achieve what I wanted. All the other plugins from other developers can only show the waitlist box in the variable products after the user selects the variation. With this plugin, I can show the waitlist box for a variable product right after the user lands on the product page without allowing them to choose variations when the product is out of stock on the product level. This is exactly what I need. Please don’t remove this feature in future versions. Also, it is worth mentioning that I can disable the waitlist box on any product I want if I don’t plan to restock it. Cool stuff! The only thing I’d like to suggest is replacing the quantity field with a checkbox in the free version of the plugin to make it GDPR-compliant.
